Delta Blues and Ragtime played with a furious, overwhelming, style!

Matti Norlin plays his blues on guitar, stomp box, washboard and vocals. The cool guitar playing and the raw feel of them 20 and early 30th recordings of the delta blues caught Mattis interest in the early 90's and he has played this kind of music since then.

Matti plays mostly original material, but it also happens that he is running classics by Robert Johnson, Blind Blake, Bukka White etc. In Matti's own blues songs you can also hear how he is influenced by among others, Jimi Hendrix and AC/DC.

Matti has since the mid nineties distinguished himself as one of the most interesting interpreter of the early blues.
Matti has released five blues albums; Pre War Blues (1995), Kitchen Sink Blues (1998), Slidin' Out (2002) , LIVE> Blues 3 Trappor Upp (2010) and Blåställ (2022).

In addition to the blues Matti also appear professionally with other musical styles and instruments.
