KITCHEN SINK BLUES

Matti Norlins second blues CD "Kitchen sink blues" (1998)
came to existence after borrowing a DAT-recorder to check out if his blues compositions were good enough to play in front of an audience. When he noticed that the ambience of his kitchen contributed into a comparatively good quality of sound, Matti decided to use the recordings for a new CD.
With a few exceptions the material is in the pre-war blues style. On most of the songs Matti's singing and playing acoustic guitar, and on a couple of tracks he's playing the banjo or electric guitar. Some tunes are backed up by; steel bodied guitar, pots and pans, drums and bass in different constellations. All songs were recorded live and no overdubs were made.
